ABOUT OUR PASTOR

I grew up just outside Columbus, Ohio. I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in poultry science and worked in the industry for five years prior to attending the seminary. I graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2011 and served as a pastor in Wyoming for seven years. In 2018 the Lord called me to serve Christ Lutheran Church.

I married Amanda in 2001 and we have six children.

I have come to treasure the hymns of the Lutheran Church and love to share them with Christians. I didn't grow up in the Missouri Synod -- I left another church body over issues of scriptural authority. I have taken an interest in studying 20th Century American Lutheranism.
